This wedding took place at the beginning of Fall – right when the leaves begin to change colors, and you know that cooler temperatures are on the way. It was my first time visiting the venue, Remi’s Ridge at Hidden Falls, and it was so unique! I remember driving through the hills on the way there, and I fell in love with all of the spanish moss draping from the trees. The ceremony took place right on the water, in front of a beautiful waterfall. We used our arch, and it was the perfect frame for all of the lush scenery!! I vividly remember standing on the ladder, creating a gorgeous design, and listening to the water trickling in the background. Also, I remember bees…lots of bees (they love fresh flowers)! I used a mixture of white blooms and textured foliage to give the arch a full and gorgeous look!
The bridal party wore gowns in shades of pastel – blush, lavender, dusty blue, and taupe. They provided a lovely backdrop for the bouquets to really pop!! The bouquets consisted of mostly shades of white and cream, with a few subtle hints of blush and dusty blue. A cream chiffon ribbon with tails added a touch of softness!
Can we just talk about Tabitha for a minute? Not only is she the sweetest soul, she is so beautiful!! …and that gown…
I kept the reception designs fairly simple, adding in accents of gold throughout. The gold really contrasted well with the color palette of the floral, and using a mixture of two different style of centerpieces provided more visual interest for the guests!
Here are a few more highlights from this beautiful day!
