Ashley and Chris were such a sweet couple, and they knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding floral designs – lots of greenery! 🙂 The wedding took place at One Eleven East, an urban loft space rich in history. The white brick walls, antique wood floors, and streaming natural light from the floor to ceiling windows provide a perfect blank canvas for creating floral designs. Adding a simple touch of greenery really does bring everything to life!
The ceremony took place in the skylight room, where I created a clean and minimal design out of trailing greenery. I wanted the greenery to appear as if it were growing, something simple but impactful.
Ashley wanted her Bridesmaids to carry bouquets full of lush and textured foliage, while saving the floral for her bouquet. I used a variety of greens including baby blue eucalyptus, bay laurel, smilax, and olive branches – so fun! The trailing chiffon ribbons added a nice touch of softness as well.
The reception space included beautiful walnut farm tables, which we dressed with handmade garlands. I love creating our own garlands because I can control the quality, thickness, and length – while adding in some really unique textures! The garlands laid perfectly on top of the light blue cheesecloth runners. The pops of cream and white floral, and the array of candles really completed the look!
Here are a few more of my favs from this beautiful day!
