After my first meeting with Emily and Travis, and her parents, I knew that this wedding was going to be so fun! This sweet couple wanted their flowers to be colorful, bold, whimsical, and wild – with Texican vibes. Imagine sarapes, maracas, eclectic vessels, live music, and delicious food!
The weather that day was a bit on the chilly side and a little cloudy, but it couldn’t have been more perfect!
When the guests arrived, they were escorted to the ceremony site under the trees. On the way to their seats, they enjoyed listening to the guitar playing softly. We lined the aisle with fresh bougainvillea plants, and the altar design included our wooden square arch with hand-crafted macrame.
The guests even had a special visitor while waiting on the ceremony to begin! 🙂 If you’ve ever been to Luckenbach, you know all about these roosters that stroll the property…
Can we just talk about how sweet this ceremony was?
Once the ceremony concluded, the guests went to cocktail hour while Emily and Travis took time for their first photos together as husband and wife.
…enter the cutest little beer burros you’ve ever seen! 🙂
The reception took place inside the dance hall, where the tables were filled with an eclectic and unique mixture of items…from pottery to iron to hand painted tiles…it was gorgeous!
I mean, how could you not have fun at this reception?!
I always love it when the couple makes time for a private last dance. It gives them a minute to pause, breathe in the moment, and be grateful for a beautiful day. <3
I used a huge variety of blooms including peonies, ranunculus, thistle, craspedia, hellebores, tulips, anemones, pincushion protea, and more to pull the look together. The result? Pure awesome.
Thank you Emily and Travis and family for trusting me with your wedding floral designs!! I love that you gave me creative freedom to bring your vision to life, and I wish you nothing but happiness!!
