Planning a wedding while living out of state can certainly be a challenge, but I was happy to relieve some of that stress off of this sweet couple! Michelle, a barre instructor, and John, a former University of Texas football player turned pro, were living in Seattle while planning their Austin wedding. I knew that they had busy schedules, so I wanted to make their wedding floral design decisions as easy as possible! Michelle wanted her floral designs to be light, airy, fresh, and reminiscent of Spring. We chose a color palette that included tones of blush, lavender, creamy whites, and dusty green. Some of her flowers included clematis, spray roses, ranunculus, eucalyptus, garden roses, astilbe, and jasmine vine.
Don’t you love how the flowers just pop off of those sky blue gowns? Gorgeous! 🙂 We kept the ceremony floral designs fairly simple, but full impact. The aisle was lined with a bed of fresh white rose petals, and the arbor was adorned with white chiffon draping and two floral designs on each pillar. This created a super clean and romantic look!
I love how beautifully the reception space came together!! We incorporated our birch bark containers, along with fresh garlands and candles to amp up the romance. The centerpieces were a perfect contrast to the gray textured linens, creating a very natural but elegant look.
It was beyond evident how happy these two were on their wedding day, and I am so thankful to have been a part of it!
Thank you for asking us to be a part of your special day, Michelle and John! Withing you both nothing but the best!! <3
