After talking with Amanda on the phone about her dream wedding floral vision, I was so excited! She wanted to incorporate tones of blush, lavender, gray, and cream – with pops of gold and succulents. I knew that with her venue and vision, her wedding was going to be absolutely breathtaking! The wedding took place at the Barr Mansion in Austin, Texas. The weather made us all nervous as a chance of rain was high. Just to be safe, the couple opted for Plan B, and it turned out gorgeous! 🙂 We brought our in-house arch along with us and created an intimate and romantic setting for the ceremony.
Amanda’s Bridal Party bouquets were simple and fun! We used medium sized air plants, fresh lavender, jasmine vine, and an assortment of greens to create their whimsical bouquets.
Amanda loved succulents, so we incorporated them everywhere! Isn’t her Groom’s boutonniere neat?
Instead of a traditional bouquet of fresh flowers, Amanda wanted to include several jewel-studded brooches throughout her bouquet. The end result? G O R G E O U S! We used fresh lavender, lilac, anemones, clooney ranunculus (these are fancy ranunculus from Italy), astilbe, veronica, jasmine vine, and eucalyptus to pull the look together.
The reception space included several guest tables along with one long head table for the bridal party. We created four styles of designs for the tables, each with different design elements – from succulents and votives, to terrariums and twinklelights – the tables looked beautiful!
Amanda’s head table is one of our absolute favs! We started by hanging a large amount of lush greenery on the beams above the table, which really framed in the space and set the whimsical tone. Then, we placed a cheesecloth runner down the center, and began placing her decor – centerpieces, terrariums, votives, succulents, twinklelights, loose greenery clippings, and floating candles. This look created a very unique, romantic, and luxurious tablescape!
Amanda and Austin were glowing with happiness the entire day. I love seeing them so happy!!
